Heavy turn movements need multiple entry points for efficiency

A triple crossover is shown here is on the Hoddle St approach so that a heavy right turn does not wastefully increase the phase time for Victoria St. The figure is rotated with north to the right. There is a heavy right turn from Hoddle St, with 40 seconds green, into Victoria St, with 10 seconds green. The turners have 10 seconds, and 6 lanes provided to cross the opposing Hoddle St through lanes, but only 2 lanes are needed to complete the turn into Victoria St at the main intersection, during the 40 seconds, and before the early cut off. This is included in the simulation of Victoria St, Hoddle St.
